To say that freestyling has become a lost art in Hip-Hop would be an understatement. But fans at a recent Childish Gambino show in Chicago saw what true emceeing looked like during a spur of the moment freestyle session.
Bino was on stage alongside his guest Steve G, and the two began trading bars in the spirit of competition. Soon after the former Community actor was joined by his close friend Chance The Rapper, who’s been known to kick a rhyme or two in his spare time. They would go on to spit for just under 10 minutes to much fanfare.
If collabs like this continue, it won’t be long before Childish Gambino and Chance The Rapper fans begin asking them to make a full project together. See the trio trade bars in the footage below.
