A$AP Ferg experiments a bit more on each new release. Known to play with his cadence and even sing occasionally, the A$AP Mob affiliate’s risk taking ways come to a head on “Petit Valley.”

Fergenstein continues his freestyle series with this Caribbean jam, which uses Bunji Garlin’s “Carnival Tabanca.” Some would say that the rap up and comer’s beat selection has gotten weirder over time, but this record was inspired by a trip to Carnival 2014 in his home country of Trinidad.

Let’s assume that seeing that culture (and not to mention the women moving their bodies in festive, but albeit skimpy clothing) up close and personal has a resounding effect.
