Adidas Originals has taken a beloved technical running shoe from the late 1980s (the ZX 8000) and given it a fresh contemporary makeover in the ZX Flux. With its renowned history and a bevy of crispy colorways, it’s a safe bet this is going to be one popular shoe in the streets, for those with good taste.

A number of colorways and packs (Weave, Base and Photo Print) of the ZX Flux have made it onto sneaker blog of note, and for good reason. Designed by Sam Handy, the ZX Flux features the OG version’s TPU heel cage and Torsion tech in the midsole. The one-piece mesh upper makes for some interesting designs to rock.

The Weave Pack features singular woven uppers with ZX accents. The Photo pack features digital-print patterns inspired by things like ocean waves and cityscapes applied to upper along with floating 3-stripes. The Base pack puts the spotlight on the shoes’ clean design with fluid colors in  aqua, orange and lime that will turned heads and low key tonal black, grey and navy .
