Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is the sequel to 2011’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes and in this new TV spot humanity should be shook.
Clocking in at just :30 seconds, we see apes atop horses and looking generally menacing. A narrator is heard mentioning why hyper-intelligent primates on the warpath are not the best of looks.
“You know the scary thing about them? They don’t need power, lights, heat…nothing. That’s their advantage. That’s what makes them stronger,” says the man speaking.
This basically means that the prospects for humanity are not looking very good in this film. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is in theaters July 11 via 20th Century Fox. Watch the TV spot below.
