Singer Cassie, who was recently sick, shared over Instagram her home remedy for a stomach bug. Moments after her photo showing Gypsy Cold Care tea, ginger tea and Makuna Honey was published, blogger Sandra Rose crafted up a blog comparing Cassie to the late socialite, Peaches Geldof, which led to an angry retort from Diddy’s girlfriend.
Rose posted on her site about this sickness Cassie was dealing with, and compared her to Peaches Geldof, who passed away earlier this month at age 25 (cause of death is still unknown).
“Nurses and doctors study long hours burning the midnight oil for years just so we can earn a professional degree that tells a state we are qualified to be licensed,” starts to explain the celebrity blogger before she undermines Cassie’s profession and intellect. “Then along comes clueless folk like pseudo singer Cassie Ventura who has been sick for 3 days with Ebola-like symptoms. Instead of going to see a doctor, she calls Boomqusiha from around the way who advises her to swallow a concoction of herbs, plants, citrus fruit and marijuana seeds to cure what ails her.” Rose then concludes on her own that Geldof passed away as a result of the same kind of ignorance. “Then we wonder why young people like Peaches Geldof suddenly drop dead? #RIP.”
Of course Cassie didn’t take this lightly, largely because it seemed as though Rose was suggesting Cassie could also fall victim to this kind of death. As such, Cassie took to Instagram and said this:
@sandrarose … A friend of mine sent me a bulls**t article you wrote about me today. At first I laughed it off as always but then, at the end, you compared me taking care of my sickness to Peaches Geldof passing this week, asif that’s my fate (God rest her soul). YOU are disgusting. THE POOR GIRL JUST PASSED!! Let her rest in Peace and don’t wish death on me. You are not a journalist. You are an angry little girl or old maid, who knows? I’m assuming you aren’t getting paid and maybe that’s why you sound so angry?? If you are getting money off of that over opinionated blog, someone needs to start a petition for you to no longer have a job. When I looked through more of your posts I realized that you just sound like you’re PMSing or maybe it’s menopause Whatever it is, I think it’s in your best interest to go see someone about it and keep my name off of your disgusting blog. What really f**ked me up was the fact that on your twitter you brought up @dkbwear who just passed as well, it wasn’t that you reported it, it was your delivery. YOU ARE A DISGUSTING HEARTLESS HUMAN BEING and all I can do is pray for you. How sad it is that you choose to live in such a negative light. I always ignore the bulls**t but you touched on some topics that are just so wrong. You don’t deserve an opinion about society anymore. Next time I see you lingering in Atlanta club like a creeper, I’ll tell you to your face.
