In can be argued that R&B got even more stale than Hip-Hop has in recent years.
The game is seeing a healthy renaissance thanks to the acts like August Alsina, Tinashe and Jhené Aiko, a family quartet by the name of the Jazmin Sisters are helping to restore that good ‘ol feeling as well.
Mixing a bit of harmony with the spirit of SWV, the Chinese-American sisters have lovely voices of their own as proven on the undeniably catchy “You.” And luckily for all new listeners–especially on Power 106, the record gaining traction was blessed with a bit of Bay from a guest appearance by IamSu!
