When The Gun Draws: 15 Victims Of Chicago’s Gun Violence [PHOTOS]

As highlighted in Moguldum Studios’ Gunland documentary, the gun and gang violence that has gripped the Chicago streets continues to play out as a harrowing tale of despair. Although Mayor Rahm Emanuel and top officials have promised to slow the carnage, victims of gun violence continue to mount at high numbers.

Just this past Easter Weekend alone, eight people were killed and around 44 wounded in a spate of shootings. No matter the numbers, any shooting involving multiple victims would be the cause of worry for any compassionate person.

Given that the gang culture in the Windy City is prevalent and that factions are operating at lawless levels, the warmer months could prove to be ripe for an even larger number of victims.

Hip-Hop Wired takes a look at 15 victims of gun violence this year on the following page.
