The Zack Snyder Man Of Steel sequel has revealed some big bombshells already, including Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, and Gal Gadot starring as Wonder Woman/Prince Diana. Adding to the growing cast is stage actor Ray Wright, who takes on the role of Cyborg/Victor Stone.

Variety broke the exclusive news yesterday afternoon, and it appears that Wright’s role won’t be a major one. Still, this sets up Snyder’s Superman franchise well and could lead the way for an upcoming Justice League of America film. With Jesse Eisenberg playing the role of Superman’s chief nemesis, Lex Luthor, there could be additional cast developments.

From Variety:

After testing actors over the past couple of weeks, Warner Bros. and DC have tapped theater actor Ray Fisher for the role of Cyborg in the untitled Batman-Superman pic.

Victor Stone or Cyborg, while not a major part in the Batman-Superman feature, is a member of the Justice League, and the role will become much more significant role as Warner and DC develop more films related to the Justice League universe, sources confirm.

Warner Bros. had no comment on this story.

Fisher joins the Batman-Superman cast that includes Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot and Amy Adams.

Wright’s roles include playing Muhammad Ali in the Broadway play, Fetch Clay, Make Man. This will be his biggest role to date.

S.T.A.R. Labs, which DC Comics fans know a lot about, may also  figure prominently in the film.

The CW television hit, Arrow, features Green Arrow/Oliver Queen played by Stephen Amell. The Flash’s alter ego, Barry Allen, has already appeared on the show which is now in its second season.
