California police have a man under arrest after they found his 1 ½ year-old and 4 month old beaten, bound and gagged on the floor of his bedroom.
23-year-old Jeremiah Scott is being held on $1 million bail after police made the disturbing discovery responding to a home disturbance call made by a neighbor.
The two young girls were found lying on the floor of the bedroom bound and gagged with visible injuries to their face and heads.
When police arrived at the scene Scott fled before being captured.
The motive for the crime is still unknown.
He is being charged with attempted murder, torture, and corporal injury to a child.
