Reynaldo Rey
Originally honing his skills at the world famous Karamu House Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio, Reynaldo Rey has been a traditional character / bit player in roughly 52 films. Back in the day fans would know him best as Rev. Walker from Sanford and Son, but in Friday, he played Red’s pops who equally didn’t want to be served the fade that his son received from villain Deebo. Since his time with Cube and co., Rey has kept it Black and Indie, featuring himself in comedic fodder such as Everybody Hates Chris, Divine Intervention, and most recently, 2012’s Pawn Shop. Rey passed away in 2015.
