It’s a bit odd that we haven’t received a proper heater from Waka Flocka Flame in a good while. Today, the Brick Squad Monopoly general attempts to change that with a new record coined “Slippin.”
The cut is produced by established hit maker Mike WiLL Made It, so, on paper, this cut should be a well established jam by summer’s arrival. Most recently, Waka Flocka has been linked to electro house musician and producer Steve Aoki, but he takes it back to the trap on this one. His flow bears resemblances to Future’s delivery on “Sh*t” (which Mike Will also produced) and the instrumental is absolutely haunting.
