Oscar de la Hoya

Oscar De La Hoya

De La Hoya, retired a boxer and creator of the biggest boxing promotion firm in the U.S., told the LA Times: “The league has made it known that it wants more minorities involved, and as a proud Mexican American, I will bring a different perspective to the NBA in general, and the Clippers in particular. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, I know what it takes to run a successful sports entity and nothing would make me happier than to bring an NBA championship home to Southern California sports fans.”

  • Run

Sterling has repeated his earlier declaration that he will not sell the team, in spite of the edict issued by the NBA. I know how to make him sell: call Suge Knight and have him visit Sterling with a few of his boys.

  • Run

Jay-Z can’t become an owner again without shutting down his sports agency and giving up his clients…ALL OF THEM. It’s a conflict of interest otherwise. I don’t think that will happen.

  • Monako

Only a billionaire can buy and maintain a franchise. Too many cooks in a kitchen can be good for business.

  • Tré Sinclare

Let’s be real no one in hip hop can afford it diddy is the highest paid an is still two hundred million from the mark

  • Reality

They can only be black front men…they don’t have the $$$

  • Oscar De La Hoya will put all his mexican counterparts who are 4 feet tall to the clippers team. get that nicca the F out of here

  • PolkaDots

I don’t give a crap about this list. He said what he said in the privacy of his own space. (We ALL have our opinions about certain people/things in the world) He should NOT be FORCED to sell his team OR pay a fine.
