Bristol Palin, the oldest daughter of Vice President reject, Sarah Palin, makes her first public appearance since her mother lost the election.
Appearing with her 15-month old son, Tripp, Bristol appears in a teen pregnancy prevention public service announcement urging teens to “Pause”.
“Pause before you play.” Bristol states, as she plugs her responsibilities as a teen-mother. The PSA, which is the first for her partner group, the Candie’s Foundation, is an attempt to reach out to teens everywhere to think before they have sex.
To further clarify the theme, Bristol appeared on Good Morning America to discuss the public service announcement and specifically the meaning of the word “pause” in the ad.
“It could be pause and go get a condom or it could be pause and think about your life or it could even be pause and wait until marriage,” said Palin, who had previously been a defender of the abstinence-only method of pregnancy prevention.
