Coalmine Records steps up to the plate and delivers a presummer rap’s dream with their new compilation Unearthed. Where else can you find Royce Da 5’9″, Pharoahe Monch, Torae, Rah Digga and more under one roof?

The independent label is celebrating 10 years of thriving and distributing head nodding Hip-Hop, hence the new project for the masses. In traditional fashion, DJ Revolution oversees the entire project with an articulate mix of cuts and scratches, especially on masterful records such as “Land of the Crooks” with Sean Price, Billy Danze and Maffew Ragazino and “I’m the City” that pits Guilty Simpson, Small Professor, Boldy James and Statik Selektah in the same arena.

As far as producers, the sound men are all peas of the same pod, such as Rawkus Records alum Ayatollah, M-Phazes, Marco Polo and the aforementioned Statik Selektah.

Get your audio fix in the stream below and do your part in help keeping the movement going by supporting to iTunes or Fat Beats. Like Black Sheep used to say, the choice is yours.
