We thought “On The Corner” was an official single, but that was just Meek Mill’s way of letting fans know that he was coming for blood. Last night, the rap star made a run for radio dominance with a new track called “I Don’t Know.”
Featuring up and coming singer Paloma Ford, the cut is new frontier for the Philly spitter. Though his rapid-fire flow remains tried and true, the production is stripped down to the bar a la something, say, Eminem would spit on. The record is certainly sonically ambitious on Meek’s part, so it’ll be interesting to see how fans react to this cut.
“I Don’t Know” will appear on Meek’s sophomore release, Dreams Worth More Than Money. The Honorable C.N.O.T.E and Cy Fyre-produced record is available via iTunes, but you can stream it guilt-free below.
