Various Aaron Hernandez tattoos that allege of a gang affiliation may prove to be useful pieces of evidence for prosecutors seeking to have him nailed with a first-degree murder conviction.

Via Lossip:

Investigators in the Aaron Hernandez murder cases are looking for tattoo artists who have worked on the disgraced New England Patriots tight end’s body between February 2012 and June 2013.

Fox News Latino reported that prosecutors have speculated that Hernandez could have received some ink in several locations across the country.

They are looking for tattoo artists in various places from his home town of Bristol, Connecticut all the way to Hermosa Beach, California.

The tattoo artists would not be charged with criminal wrongdoing but their information would be useful in securing a conviction against the former football star.

Investigators would not specify which arm has important clues about his involvement in the murder. Hernandez is tattooed in both arms.

Hernandez has been charged in three murders and will be arraigned in Boston’s Suffolk County Court May 28 for the 2012 murders of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado in Boston.

He is already charged with the June 2013 murder of semi-pro footballer Odin Lloyd, who was dating his fiancee’s sister. Hernandez is currently awaiting trial.

Hernandez’s public perception has already taken several hits as he awaits trial. The 24-year-old former star was charged with assault and battery for a February 2014 fight where he allegedly busted up a fellow inmate who had been talking sideways.
