Indiana Pacers superstar Paul George’s issues don’t end with a possible elimination from the NBA Conference Finals. Today, Page Six reports that former stripper, Daniela Rajic, is suing the professional basketball player in a paternity suit.
Rajic, 24, birthed her daughter Olivia on May 1, and claims that George is the father. But rather than take her claims to reporters or even worse, social networks, she filed a paternity suit against George in Manhattan Family Court on Wednesday (May 28).
“Paul and Daniela saw each other a number of times over the course of a few months in Miami last summer,” a source said. “She became pregnant, and their daughter was born on May 1. She has already undertaken a paternity test, and there’s no question he is the father. The court is still expected to order an official DNA test.”
This news, of course, culminates a few months worth of struggle for the NBA All-Star. But he’s said to be ready to raise his child should the paternity results reveal that she’s his.
A rep for George said, “As Paul has said all along, if and when the legal process confirms that the baby is his, he will fully embrace his responsibilities as a father and provide emotional and financial support to the child. The process has been amicable and we hope it will continue to be until this issue is clarified.”
George is said to have met Rajic in Miami, where she one-time worked at Tootsie’s Cabaret.
