Remember that time Wale threatened to come up to the Complex offices and deliver fades? That’s all H2o under the bridge as the Maybach Music Group rapper and sneaker aficionado went shopping with the mag in Miami at LeBron James’ Unknown clothing store.
Wale kept it 100 about his thoughts on the sneaker game and admitted he isn’t getting free kicks like he used to. “I’m not high on Nike’s list like I used to be,” he told Complex when asked about how many kicks he cops compared to how many pairs he is seeded.
He then added, with a laugh, “I mean, who knows (why). Probably because I call magazines…”
