A performance by Atlanta rap trio Travis Porter ended in violence Saturday after fights broke out leaving several people arrested and one person with a head injury.

The group who penned the popular anthem “Go Shorty Go” was in Albany, Georgia to perform at a block party organized by local tax company SOWEGA Tax Services.

The group performed a three song set at a nearby amphitheater when violence erupted.

According to a Police spokeswoman there were incidents of violence at three different locations including the city’s Turtle Park, Ray Charles Plaza and Oglethorpe Boulevard and Front Street.

Spokeswoman Phyllis Banks reported the information to the The Albany Herald saying that several dozens gathered as a fight broke out about 6:40 p.m. at the city’s Turtle Park as the concert was ending.

One female suffered a head injury and several people were arrested by the Albany Police Department.

In other news, the rap group garnered praise at BMI’s 13th annual unsigned showcase April 2o when they opened for Drake.

The trio of Ali, Strap and Quez are scheduled to make several stops for more performances around the country.
