A funeral home in Puerto Rico is making headlines after they decided to honor a man that was shot and killed last week by posing his dead body on his motorcycle as though he were “riding into heaven.”

22-year-old David Morales Colón was murdered last week in San Juan and his family chose to commemorate him in this “nontraditional” way.

Staff at the Marin funeral home dressed him in his riding clothes and placed him on top of his bike, hunched over in the riding position with his helmet behind him.

Friends and family attended a wake for the victim where they got to see the funeral home’s work up close.

This is not the first time the Marin funeral home has had a nontraditional home going. In 2008 they made headlines for positioning the corpse of a 24-year-old man to stand up straight for a three day wake.
