The reunited rap duo have just announced that their musical comeback will also include a homecoming show.

Antwan “Big Boi” Patton and André “3000” Benjamin are slated to perform in the their native ATL as they headline a concert. The show will be curated by Big Boi and Three Stacks, and boast additional performers to be revealed later on.

As per press release:

The ingenious and iconic duo, Outkast (Antwan “Big Boi” Patton and André “3000” Benjamin) will forever be associated with the city of Atlanta and now, they’re coming home #ATLast. The revered group has confirmed that they will curate and headline a homecoming show in Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park on Saturday, September 27. Additional artists will be announced in coming weeks. The show’s supporting partners are Atlanta’s own V103 (WVEE FM), Creative Loafing, Rival Entertainment and Bowery Presents.

Big Boi had this to say: “It’s only right that we give the hometown what we’ve been giving the rest of the world, Atliens in ATL, homecoming! Festival Killers.”

“Coming from Atlanta gave us the freedom to be whatever we ever wanted to be because no one was paying attention. Now that everyone is, we want to say thank you,” added André.

OutKast’s homecoming set is bound to be a knockout show. We look forward to learning who else will join the lineup. Stay tuned.
