Warner Bros. hasn’t enjoyed the success within the comic book movie world when compared to its chief rival, Marvel Studios. The movie studio’s fortunes might change after it plans to announce a series of Justice League solo films, featuring classic DC Comics names like Wonder Woman, Flash and more.

With the success of the Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot, Man Of Steel, Warner Bros. has decidedly ramped up consideration for a series of films. Entertainment reporter Nikki Finke got the exclusive scoop on the possible schedule of films to be announced next month at Comic-Con.

From NikkieFinke.com:

May 2016 – Batman v Superman

July 2016 – Shazam

Xmas 2016 – Sandman

May 2017 – Justice League

July 2017 – Wonder Woman

Xmas 2017 – Flash and Green Lantern team-up

May 2018 – Man Of Steel 2

There had been talk of a Metal Men and Suicide Squad movie for sometime in 2016 but that project fell off the schedule.

The upcoming sequel to Man Of Steel, reportedly titled Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, features Henry Cavill reprising his role as Clark Kent/Superman with Ben Affleck starring as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Finke reports that the film was delayed because it will serve as a “launching pad” for the ensemble cast of the Justice League movie.

Cyborg, as we previously shared, will be featured in a cameo as will Flash in the film. Green Lantern will be played a different actor, this after Ryan Reynolds and his turn as the hero didn’t go as planned. Gal Gadot, who will play Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, is the only other known actor.

With the popular CW program Arrow and the upcoming The Flash series, there’s no word if the TV shows will cross over with the movies like Marvel Studios has done with ABC’s Agents Of Shield.
