As per usual, the 2014 XXL Freshman list was accompanied by a range of supporting content, which now includes an official mixtape featuring this year’s selections. DJ Drama returns to give the project the Gangsta Grillz stamp of approval.
Clocking in at 21 cuts, this musical compilation dons new material from the likes of Ty Dolla $ign, Rich Homie Quan, Troy Ave, Vic Mensa, and more. The only Freshman missing from the party is Chance The Rapper. Nevertheless, this is an opportunity to familiarize Hip-Hop fans with this new cluster of artists.
Expect guest appearances from 2 Chainz, Fabolous, and Lloyd Banks.
