The Los Angeles Clippers aren’t waiting for Donald Sterling to finish sifting through his collection of Black women to start anew with their organization. After careful calculation and restructuring of the team’s basketball operations department, the Clippers have named Doc Rivers as the President of Basketball Operations to go along with his head coach title.

NBA veteran Dave Wohl will become the new General Manager, Assistant Coach Kevin Eastman is now Vice President of Basketball Operations and Gary Sacks is the new Assistant General Manager.

“I am extremely excited to work closely with Kevin, Dave and Gary in their new roles as we continue to move the culture of the Clippers forward,” Rivers said in a press release. “Our goals are not only to become a championship team, but a championship organization as well. I feel with the new structure of the Basketball Operations Department, we have taken a positive step in that direction.”

The front office shift makes Rivers the former Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations.
