After Eve’s “What You Want” became a Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, the Philly native just kept getting bigger. Her 1999 debut Let There Be Eve…Ruff Ryders’ First Lady topped Billboard making her the third female rap artists to do so.

Over the last decade, the “Illest Pitbull in a Skirt” has hopped around from different labels, and finally went independent with the release of her most recent album, LipLock.

She also got married this month, if you hadn’t heard already.
