Gwinnett County police are investigating a rap beef between Migos and unGoogleable group 2G, which reportedly left one man murdered on June 11.

Kiari Cephus (collection of mug shots pictured), a.k.a. Offset, serves as one-third of the popular “Versace” trio and was taken into custody by authorities attempting to solve the murder of Paris Brown.

Police say Brown was an innocent bystander and a Migos fan when Cory Marzette, known affiliate of the rival 2G shot and killed him while intending to shoot Cephus.

“He was just a supporter of the rap group Migos and essentially caught a stray bullet,” Cpl. Deon Washington told WSB-TV Atlanta.

Interestingly enough, Cephus actually refused to cooperate with Washington’s investigation, adhering to the street code of “no snitching.”

“We know he was there, however he would not cooperate with the police investigation,” Washington said. “Very casually as if this is a game and a big joke, but it’s not because someone lost their life. Obviously there’s a difference between entertainment, which is what these guys are affiliated with, and real-life violence and crime.”

Investigators speculate that between 25-30 people were at the crime scene but like the Cephus, nobody has any recollection of the incident.

Marzette has been charged with the murder of Brown and remains on the run. Police are also looking for the second shooter seen in the surveillance video.
