ScHoolBoy Q Brings Out Ab-Soul, ASAP Mob & More At Central Park SummerStage

ScHoolBoy Q brought the summer heat to Central Park on Wednesday night (June 25). Following the release of his highly successful debut album, Oxymoron, the lone Black Hippy headlined SummerStage for a wild night of music, set in the middle of the greatest city in the world.

Along with special guest appearances from ASAP Mob, Flatbush Zombies and Action Bronson, TDE brethren Ab-Soul joined SBQ on stage to perform some live selections for an already tumultuous crowd.

Q hurdled through fan-faves like “Collard Greens,” “Gangsta” and “Studio,” before Soulo emerged to perform his Action Bronson-assisted cut, “Stigmata.” A$AP Rocky performed “Brand New Guy” as the mob’s helping hand put the park on tilt with their surge of high-level energy.

SBQ aptly closed out the night with two standout records, “Break the Bank” and “Man of the Year.”

The well-rounded lineup also included opening acts from “2 On” songstress, Tinashe along with BlackOutBoyz, A$AP Yams and A$AP J Scott on the 1s and 2s. Fellow left-coaster, Odd Future’s Domo Genesis also made a solid appearance.
