The Chef Raekwon has been calculatively creeping back onto the music scene since burying his disputes with the rest of his Wu-Tang Clan members. And for those patient fans who have been getting their fix on the recent string of appetizers, Rae has just made a move that will sweeten the main course of Fly International Luxurious Art.

Memory Lane Music Group and their unique division, Scion Three Music, have just reached an agreement with Raekwon that gives him a worldwide publishing deal. Which means more C.R.E.A.M. and freedom for the Chef to zone in on finishing his sixth solo studio album.

Mark Spier, the president of Memory Lane Music Group, didn’t hold back any excitement for welcoming the author of Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… into their fold. “Raekwon is a rap legend,” he said in a statement. “He’s been a driving force in the genre since the Hip-Hop explosion of the 90s, and we couldn’t be more excited to partner with him.” Anel Pla and Mike Connis of S.W.A.P. Management also brokered the deal.

Fly International Luxurious Art (F.I.L.A.) is scheduled to be released this fall. News of official guest appearances are forthcoming. Fans in the NYC area can possibly get an early taste of what’s to come at this weekend’s annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival where Rae is headlining along with Jay Electronica.
