The entire world shared a collective gasp earlier today, July 17, when word rang out that another Malaysia Airlines plane had gone missing.

Unfortunately, the utmost gravest fear was realized when the Flight 17 (eerie, no?) was not only confirmed to have crashed but it had been shot down by a Russian missile as it traveled over Eastern Ukraine soil.

According to a new report by CBS, both the local government and pro-Russia separatists who had been fighting in the nearby region denied any involvement with the incident.

Russian President Vladimir Putin directed the blame at Ukraine capital Kiev because, well, that’s where the unthinkable happened.

“This tragedy would not have happened, if there had been peace on that land, or in any case if military operations in southeastern Ukraine had not been renewed,” Putin said in a televised press conference, according to Reuters.

No matter who was at fault, celebrities worldwide were seen voicing their concerns and condolences amongst the rest of the general public.

Take a look at what folks such as Nicki Minaj to Morris Chestnut and some of our Black Twitter 100 are saying about the second Malaysia Airlines tragedy we’ve experienced in 2014.
