Unbeknownst to most, LL Cool J has been in the studio cooking up a sequel to his 2000 LP, G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time). With that news comes the first single, “The Hustler,” featuring reggae artist Mavado.

Considering his current position in Hollywood’s ranks, it’s interesting to hear the Queens rapper shake off the lovey dovey raps in favor of a true street story. Backed by a cinematic production byJerry Wonda, LL delivers his rhymes while Mavado holds down the chorus.
