Jay Z and Jay Electronica landed on the cover of the latest issue of the Nation of Islam’s long-running publication, The Final Call. After the pair appeared with one another at the 2014 Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival, the cover story focuses on other rappers influenced by the teachings of the NOI and the Five Percent Nation.

Earlier in the month, Jay Electronica’s festival performance shut down the Internets as he rolled out guest after guest before bringing out Brooklyn’s own, Jay Z. Flanked by members of the Nation of Islam, the performance still has folks buzzing.

The Final Call piece focuses heavily on the Nation’s presence within Hip-Hop, and how artists have peppered their rhymes with teachings from the “Supreme Wisdom” or lessons that the NOI and Five Percent Nation study. Throughout the article, photos of rappers who have quoted or have been directly influenced by the words of Min. Louis Farrakhan are featured.

Self Scientific rapper Chace Infinite snapped a photo of the Final Call issue and posted it on his Instagram page. Hit the jump for the full-size version. To read the cover story, click here.
