After about a 24-hour delay, Remy Ma is finally a free woman. The Bronx rapper walked out of the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility today (August 1) after reportedly spending a week in solitary confinement.
According to Miss Info, Remy was released at 3 pm today and was picked up by just her husband, rapper Papoose.
Why the “I’m Conceited” rapper’s release was delayed is still unknown. XXL reported that officials said a “disciplinary problem” on July 21, which happens to be the same day she called into Angie Martinez on Power 105, is what led to the hold up.
Shortly after her release, she shared the message “I’m back !!!” on her official Instagram page.
