After turning the knob with Meek Mill’s “I Don’t Know,” songstress Paloma Ford kicks down the door with her “Summer In California” single.
Featuring Snoop Dogg and IamSu!, this track sonically encompasses life in the West Coast’s mecca. Though the production isn’t as laid back as we’d assume, it’s stern piano and accompanying drums makes for an audibly marvelous clash with Ford’s buttery vocals. Meanwhile, the aforementioned rappers relish in their assisting roles, which big up Los Angeles and the Bay Area, respectively.
