Not to judge, but Raekwon’s latest #TBT release isn’t much of a throwback. But if that isn’t an issue, “When I See You” should play just fine.
Fantasia Barrino’s “When I See U” becomes a sonically pleasing playground for The Chef, who waxes lovey-dovey poetics about enjoying time with his lady. At no point does Raekwon alter his street-hardened persona while rhyming, but what else should listeners expect from a Wu-Tang Clan legend?
