Here’s a lovely treat for all you Eve fans. A previously unreleased song from the Philly rapper called “The Beat Is So Crazy,” originally recorded for Madonna’s 2008 Hard Candy album, is unearthed today.
The tune, featuring production from Timbaland, Pharrell/The Neptunes and Danja was later sold to Ruff Ryders’ own, who was recruited as Madonna’s duet partner. The song was then scheduled to live on the rapper’s 2007 Here I Am album, but was ultimately scrapped.
We’re not sure why, because the beat really is crazy and deserves as much as a full video treatment if nothing else. In short, Eve and Madonna sound golden together. Spin the track below.
