I’m Floyd Mayweather and. I’m Floyd Mayweather. And I’ve joined Heart Radio for the show. ‘Kay, I’m Floyd Mayweather. pic.twitter.com/cZA0Vyw9V4 — Freshalina (@freshalina) August 22, 2014
As an adult literacy tutor, I can tell you adult literacy is real problem and sad. Nothing to make fun of. These folks experience enough shame from themselves. They don’t need it from others.
Maybe you need to be helped.
YOU probably got more Degrees than Floyd, and cannot do HALF the things he does.
ALSO he is not illiterate, he can read.
You definitely could use help in the reading comprehension department. Where did I mention complete illiteracy? Where did I even mention Floyd’s name? Based on the recording his reading ability is on par with a fifth grader. And that does qualify as an literacy issue.
Yeah, but she can learn to do new things….
Floyd may have a learning disability. But, then again, he was raised by Mayweather Sr., so there is that.I ordinarily wouldn’t even laugh at these, but Floyd’s behavior and utter lack of humility makes him a special case.
Except other adults with reading problems see people making fun of Mayweather about his reading issues and it just reinforces their shame and unwillingness to do anything about it.
Damn, you do have a point there.
THANK YOU! I was talking about this on Bawsip and no one seemed to understand the shame and humiliation that people in his shoes feel. I’ve worked with a kid in the Big Brother, Big Sister Program who had a problem with reading, writing and comprehension. When I met his mother she told me that she had problems in the same areas and felt ashamed because she couldn’t help her son and felt that she was contributing to his failure. It took a lot of courage for her to admit it and she did so through tears in her eyes and was worried that I would judge her.
ive read a lot of your comments over there and i can tell you that a lot of them are uncompassionate because of his attitude however a sensible person like yourself who obviously cares of others (working with BB/BS and all) can understand and empathize and for that you get my vote! its a tit for tat thing with folks “he’s an azzole so serves him right he can barely read” type of mentality. selfishness before selflessness.
As much as I do not care for Floyd due to the way he boasts about money and how he deals with women, I have compassion and sympathy for him and his situation. I could never think a grown man not being able to read is funny. It’s sad. He was failed somewhere along the way. I hope and pray others who are illiterate will not feel ashamed and take advantage of literacy programs out there. When they learn how to read, that will be an accomplishment they can be, and should be, very proud of. I hope he decides to get help after this embarrassment.
He may have been failed in elementary school. But along the way of making $100 million dollars, He could’ve hired a private tutor if he had the inclination to learn. Clearly, he doesn’t see it as a priority.
“Money Mayweather” can afford a tutor and there are also public libraries that offer free adult reading programs; however, HE has to want to better himself. No excuses for this man! Let his slores teach him!
But the thing is, Floyd has no shame. He’s an arrogant braggart & when people find a flaw in a person like this, its easy to have no sympathy.
Karma is a b8tch! Leave these married women alone and stop talkin so much trash
Floyd and 50 might as well jus fvck and be done
funniest one was the “wingardium leviosa” lol
kmsl …had to google “wingardium leviosa” though.
He probably can’t count, either…instead of going back to school or hiring a private tutor to get educated, he’d rather spend his money on gold digging slores! I bet they can read and count, and will have more money than him in the next few years when he is bankrupt and in foreclosure!
Henry Ford couldn’t read..
No One should have pity for him because he is in a position to have round the clock tutelage
