In a counter defense to the Los Angeles Immigration Law Boycott, Arizona has threatened to leave L.A. in the dark if they continue the boycott.

Arizona Corporation Commissioner Gary Pierce sent a letter to the mayor of Los Angeles Antonio Villaraigosa Tuesday.

The letter simply said that Villaraigosa should “reconsider the wisdom of attempting to harm Arizona’s economy.”

The Los Angeles City Council voted on the Boycott 13-1 last week because they feel that it is unfair to ask for proof of documentation of citizenship based on the appearance of a person.  Arizona Corporation Gary Pierce had this to say about why he has threatened L.A:

“I feel like if you’re going to boycott the candy store, you’ve got to leave all the candy alone, I feel like Arizona is the candy store.  If Los Angeles is serious about its boycott, I would be happy to help them to renegotiate the power agreements so they no longer receive power from Arizona. When temperatures rise over 100 degrees we’re going to love to have the extra power.”

Arizona provides about 25 percent of electrical power to the city of L.A. which could be a huge problem if the Commissioner is serious.

Are we sure that Arizona Commissioner is not just upset at L.A. because Kobe is out there breaking the Suns ankles?
