Nicki Minaj is a big time get for a school looking for a speaker. However, her alma mater, the famed Laguardia High School in NYC, passed on letting her speak to the students.

Reports Page Six:

Nicki Minaj may be No. 3 on the Billboard charts, but she’s still not “good enough” to speak at her storied alma mater.

The “Anaconda” rapper, a graduate of the famous Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School on New York’s Upper West Side, was allegedly rebuffed when she recently offered to speak at the school.

“I wanted to go back to my HS and speak to the students but the new principal declined. No need for me to inspire them, I guess. Smh,” she tweeted on Thursday.

On the one hand, Nicki Minaj is the top female rapper in the game with Pop star accolades, so she surely would have attention of the student body.

On the other hand, there will be plenty of parents giving the side eye to her hyper-sexualized lyrics and stage antics, even if their kids are quite familiar with them and wouldn’t be keen on the school’s administration basically condoning it. Also, is shaming the principal of the school the best strategy to changing her mind?

But actually, Minaj may have gotten denied because of logistics.

Despite being notorious for her booty-shaking performances and colorful lyric choices, an employee at the school told The Post on Friday their reasoning behind the rejection was simply because the kids were in class and only authorized school personnel are allowed inside the building.

The employee tenaciously added that the decision had nothing to do with Minaj’s well-known wild side. The school has since referred all calls to Department of Education spokeswoman Margi Feinberg, who could not be reached for comment.
