This past May, Nicki Minaj asked a judge to toss out a lawsuit filed against her where her former wig designer was demanding $30 million for dissolved reality TV plans and other hootnanny.

She got her wish.

U.S. District Judge Harold Murphy says the plaintiff, Terrence Davidson failed to state a valid claim against Minaj and her Pink Personality LLC, the Associated Press has learned.

Davidson argued that the “Anaconda” rapper stole his custom wig designs and reneged on plans to launch not only a reality television show but a joint venture for hairpieces as well.

Judge Murphy stated that their was no evidence that Davidson’s wigs differentiated themselves from the ones Nicki currently uses and sells.

Davidson, who is based in Georgia, started working with Minaj in 2010 and was responsible for her looks during her debut album press run appearances and the popular “Super Bass” video. He claimed that Nicki and her team began to slowly “shut him out” following this time period but the judge said that the verbal promises given to him were much too vague to be held up against any sort of legality.

There is no word as of yet if he plans to appeal the ruling and his lawyer did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment from the AP on Thursday.
