It’s far from implausible to say that summer 2014 belonged to Bobby Shmurda, whose run viral track turned radio hit, “Hot Ni**a,” left its mark anywhere it was played. As that trend continues into the fall, the Brooklyn rapper made his first ever BET Hip-Hop Awards appearance over the weekend in Atlanta, where we discussed his upcoming EP, Shmurda She Wrote.
Shmurda, who came equipped for the Atlanta sun with a towel and sunglasses, revealed that he has a new single on the way titled “Brand New Shmoney.” He also revealed that his GS9 partner in rhyme, Rowdy Rebel, has a new heater on the way.
