Following the annual iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas this weekend, news outlets like InTouch have accused Nicki Minaj of lip-synching during her set.
“She was clearly lip singing during her performance,” reported InTouch. “Her mic was held very far from her, and her mouth did not match the words. Everyone noticed.”
She was reportedly booed while on stage as well. But according to The Barbz’s Instagram, she was experiencing technical difficulties, microphone complications that prompted the “Anaconda” rapper to freestyle a cappella at the end of her number.
“#Video #flawless by the way, that wasn’t part of the show. Lol,” she wrote. “The music really cut off so I just decided to go a cappella #iHeartRadio #Vegas”
