Earlier this year we wrote that even talent as great as Dave East can go unnoticed in an industry as saturated as today’s Hip-Hop. But all that’s about to change for the Harlem spitter. Word is, Nas just signed him to Mass Appeal.
Though Nas barely made mention of it in his recent sit-down with Power 105’s Angie Martinez, we know it’s real because Dave’s Twitter timeline has been on tilt since. The Black Rose rapper and his manager Wayno have both taken to social media to play coy.
Dave would (presumably) be joining a wickedly talented roster that includes Boldy James, Fashawn, Bishop Nehru and Run The Jewels. In any case, our sincere congratulations to the New York rapper and his team.
