Apparently, the idea of a rapper being some sort of positive role model to the youth of today is something that is highly disregarded when it comes to their parents.

A recent lecture from T.I. held down at Woodland Middle School in Georgia wasn’t met by too much fanfare in regards to the parental control as they felt they should have been asked for permission to have a convicted felon speak with their offspring.

Since the incident, the King of the South made an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show to address the parents that seemed to have a problem with his presence.

“…if it had been an accountant, a dentist… someone else coming in giving the same message, the message wouldn’t have been received.”

Clearly the whole idea of redemption and giving an individual a second chance is out the window.  If a person can’t even get the support from their home state, then where else can they get it?
