After finally coming down from her succesful Euro trip, Nicki Minaj is addressing the incendiary notions that she channeled Adolph Hitler for her “Only” lyric video.

Although it is hard to believe that any artist would intentionally try to offend an entire sect of people, the “Anaconda” rapper is saying some of the key overseers of the visual are Jewish, so in no way should it be deemed as anti-Semitic.

“The artist who made the lyric video for “Only” was influenced by a cartoon on Cartoon Network called “Metalocalypse” & Sin City,” she explained. “Both the producer, & person in charge of over seeing the lyric video (one of my best friends & videographer: A. Loucas), happen to be Jewish. I didn’t come up w/the concept, but I’m very sorry & take full responsibility if it has offended anyone. I’d never condone Nazism in my art.”

The five-minute animated video depicts Nicki as a dictator running the world with an iron fist, complete with a legion of militant soldiers at her command. Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown are also illustrated into various roles such as a priest and businessman, making the German connotation that much more believable. “Only” has since amassed almost two million views on YouTube, so it is probably a coin flip whether it gets taken down or not.
