Following Tyler, The Creator’s emotional reaction to watching N.E.R.D. reunite, the Odd Future head honcho caught up with his idol Pharrell, during last weekend’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival in Los Angeles.
In their chat, Pharrell praised Tyler and his camp for their musical genius, dubbing them this generation’s anchor of creative minds.
“This generation has its anchor, that’s Odd Future,” Skateboard P said. “We got a lot of help now. It’s not just us [anymore]. It’s us, it’s Odd Future, it’s Kendrick. A lot of great minds that give a f*ck about how things end up and where things go.”
