Debuting back on September 22, 1989 a little show known as Family Matters took the airwaves by storm, becoming the second-longest-running U.S. sitcom with a predominantly African-American cast.
The show also gave birth to the ultimate nerd. Draped in plaid, suspenders and pants pulled up to his rib cage, Steve Urkel took comedy to a new plateau.
Since then the actor, known as Jaleel White, has been somewhat off the scene, but is looking to make a return through the help of the Internet as he is working on his web-series, Fake It Til You Make It.
[Check for the first episode of the new web series from “Urkel” and more after the jump.]
Here goes the first episode for White’s new series.
And just for the Fawk of it, it was only right to bring back that classic Family Matters moment.
A little food for thought of FYI. Outside of his comedic roles in front of the camera, White also lent his talents as the voice for Sonic The Hedgehog.
