The honorees were presented their awards for the evening by equally distinguished ladies, including; hip-hop pioneer Cheryl “Salt” James, digital entrepreneur Karen Civil, founder of Pretty Girls Sweat Aeshia Branch, rapper/actor Lil Mama, actor Gary Dourdan, Atlantic records recording artist Justine Skye and singer/songwriter Bridget Kelly. The event was hosted by WEEN co-founder/CEO Valeisha Butterfield Jones and ARISE Entertainment 360 co-host Shannon Lanier.

At the end of the program, MC Lyte and Lynn Richardson presented WEEN a generous check to support future programs on behalf of the Hip Hop Sisters organization.
