Rick Ross didn’t sit with Hot 97’s Laura Stylez for long, but their brief convo was filled with good information about Meek Mill’s forthcoming release from prison, his thoughts on the ruling in the Michael Brown case, Hood Billionaire and more.

“I spoke to him and it may have been five days from now,” said Ross in regards to his MMG protege. “The big homie was sentenced to six months off the rip. We done got our hopes up a couple of times so I said I wasn’t going to feed into that again. When he come home, he come home. At worst it won’t be more than a month at this point.”

Segueing topics, The Bawse was asked to speak on how he felt after learning Officer Darren Wilson would not be indicted for the shooting death of Brown. “It dampened my spirit,” Ross quickly replied. “But before I think of me I have to send my condolences to the Brown family for they major loss. Me just sitting there reflecting, it’s just been open season on young black males for a long time.”
