A South Carolina man got beaten so bad he looks like a zombie extra from The Walking Dead. The proper fade was delivered courtesy of his nephew, who apparently wasn’t too pleased that his uncle was sexually assaulting his girlfriend.
William L. Mattson, 52, of Conway, was arrested and his mugshot is not for the weak of heart.

According to a police report, Mattson’s nephew, who has not been identified, claimed responsibility for the attack early Thursday morning. The nephew said he took the woman to his home following a party on Dec. 31, then left. He allegedly heard “moaning” coming from inside his room when he returned to the home.
The nephew then told investigators that he kicked the door in and found his uncle on top of his girlfriend.,He then attacked Mattson, driving him out of the house. Mattson allegedly lives in the house along with the couple and his nephew’s father.
The suspect told authorities that he began to “hug and kiss” with the woman after drinking with her. At the time, Mattson said, she was naked under a blanket while he was fully clothed.
However, the woman told police that the encounter was not consensual. Mattson is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
