Joe Jackson is continuing to make headlines for his odd behavior after the death of his son Michael Jackson.

This time, the Jackson family patriarch claims that it’s his estranged wife Katherine’s fault that their son died June 25th last year of cardiac arrest.

In an interview with News Of The World, Joe claims that he begged his wife to go visit Michael because he began to look “thin” and “pale” but she refused. According to Joe, the King of Pop was a “momma’s boy” and he would always listen to his mother.

“I had begged her to go over and stay with him, but she insisted he needed his privacy and gave him the slack she thought he needed. A child will listen to his mother more than his father – and Michael was a mommy’s boy. He listened to her. I still haven’t been able to talk about it to her as she doesn’t want to hear what I have to say.”

He also adds that he’s “incensed” with her and that if she’d only listened to him Michael would be here today.

“I kept thinking about the times I had stood in front of her saying something was wrong. I couldn’t bottle up my feelings. Katherine didn’t say a word – I had to get away from her. If she’d done what I asked, Michael would be here today. I am incensed with her. She could have made a difference.”

As previously reported Michael left his three children $33 million each and his mother 40% of his estate.

His father was shut out of the will completely.

Joe has since clarified his statement and told PopEater.com,

“Katherine did not kill my son. She isn’t at fault.”
